Admittedly, it's not that difficult to change out brake pads. However, It seems like the head on the grub screws strip out about half the time. Not an issue with putting new pads in, because they come with new screws. But if you were swapping out regularly wouldn't you need a bunch of extra grub screws?

I get that as a wheel manufacturer it's in your best interest to recommend a cautious approach, and it's certaintly the safest way to protect the wheels.

I've just found that looking the pads over, and a light sanding has worked for me, which fwiw, Zipp says is ok.
