Ah, our new national hero. The guy is such a character. His breakaway style of winning things is just so nice compared to the boring steamroller approach of certain teams and riders. His interviews are hilarious; he has an extremely witty and friendly camera presence (rare in for pro cyclists that can usually manage to get two words in before they have to pause and say uhm for a while). That, and he's got a real "North Holland" style of laconic understatement with the accent to match.
