FWIW, this bike was outed briefly on the CR list. A poster from Oz said significant doubt has been expressed locally regarding the bike's provenance. It's a very cool piece if the back story is true, but I suppose anybody wanting to add this to their collection will need to do some due diligence before plunking down $20k.
