Northeasterners - anyone have any thoughts on whether the Quabbin RR is a good idea to do? I last raced it back in 2009, when it was a USAC event. I liked it then (though I had no fitness and got dropped with 20 miles to go), but what I've heard about the massive field sizes and crashes in the last couple of years has me a bit worried about doing it this year. I'd like to race it, but it does concern me a bit.
