Insurance. You have to know the promoter to understand. Since it's a pirate race, USAC field sizes do not apply. There's really not a sketchy part of the course, so if your fields were sketchy, it wasn't the roads. However, I will tell you this, Route 202N from Belchertown to New Salem is a friggin' disaster this year. Ho Chi Minh trail type of disaster. Huge sections of torn up pavement that take up almost the whole lane. If there will be sketchiness, that's where it will be. I haven't seen the back side of the course, Rt. 122S and the small roads coming out of Harwick, but we had a rough winter up here and it won't be smooth.
