Now I figured it was time to give my old Rigida polished rims a good scrubbing and get them to where they should be. So I got out some soap and water and a green scrubby pad and went to work. That was a really bad idea, since it badly scratched and dulled the finish.

So I headed off to Harbor freight and bought a 4" polishing disc set to try to undo my faux pas. I just finished one wheel and it looks like what I wanted to see when I started.

Apparently this is what I should've done in the first place. And don't use green scrubby pads to clean your bike.
