HBrown, if being called out on your claims makes you want to try racing, great! It does seem to be contrary to the excuses for not racing in your other thead, but that's neither here nor there. The Velothon, although chip timed and such, is not really what many of us would consider a race. It's a competitive supported ride. If you really want to race, you should look into a USAC license and find local criterium and road races. There's a Great Valley Criterium on May 5th in Malvern. At 50mph, it should only take you a few minutes to get there from Philly on the Schuylkill river MUP. Congratulations in advance on your future wins.

Just to remove any preconceived notions that you seem to be harboring- your GTB may have been faster than a Honda because it has a V12. Your Ferrari Colnago is not faster than my buddy's $800 Trek 1200, because he's a Cat 2 with a 350 watt FTP.
