I've had a longer think about this and also had a look at my local airbnb listings and the OP's start up site.
The concept I think falls between two stools, those providers who host largely out of a sense of community (Warmshowers) and those interested in help paying off the home loan (airbnb). For anyone in the later category offering the list of services the OP describes, like dinner, airport pick up, conducted tours of area, etc. would need to charge about double what the average airbnb charges in my area. On the other hand, someone like myself who has freely given many of these services to guests, I think wouldn't like guests to arrive expecting them of right.
There's obviously scope for airbnb hosts to offer things like bike hire and secure storage as a way of competing but as a stand alone service just for touring/visiting cyclists I doubt it has enough appeal for either hosts or guests.
