So, I did the rebuild on Friday. First I de-tensioned the wheel, then I took off the leading spokes from both sides, keeping them straight with the original nipples on each spoke. That left the trailing spokes with the hub pretty loose. I was able to then swap the spokes from one hub to the other, with both hubs attached. There was no problem doing this. Then I re-laced the leading spokes, which went fine except that I missed the lacing part on a few, which I corrected.

I then brought the drive side tension up, then the NDS to a lower reading, and had them all even according to my gauge. That's where the problem began. While on the front all I had to do was touch up the wheel and it was good after measuring tension, this didn't look good at all. It was completely off side to side and roundness. I've brought it back into alignment and the tension is still pretty even, which surprised me. I didn't get to finish it yet, I still need to get the dish just right, but it isn't far off. I'm off to do that now.
