Annoying Clicking Noise on 2010 BMC Promachine
I get a "click, click, click, click" noise from my bottom bracket area. The noise is not constant, it only seems to occur when I am pedaling but it does NOT happen every time I pedal. When I put my bike on the stand and pedal to try and recreate the noise there is no noise so wondering if it might be related to load conditions when I pedal. However, the noise is not present at all times and it does not seem to differentiate whether I am cruising or under pedal load via different levels of effort.
I am about to take the bike to the shop to see what might be up but was curious if the collective expertise in the forum might save me a trip so I do not have to miss out on riding while the bike is in the shop and also save some potential $$$. Thanks in advance.
