If it's in great shape and less than a year old and originally listed for $1400, I'd post it on CL for about $1100. See what happens. I've sold two bikes this way and virtually broke even both times. I think $850 is giving it away. It's basically a new bike.
I originally had it at $900 on craigslist, but no one bit enough to want to take a test ride. It is in like-new condition. There is no signs of wear on it. How long did you have to wait before someone bought yours? I am guessing it's easier to sell bikes on the west coast. I am selling mine in the Washington DC area.
