A front shift feels nearly identical to a rear shift.
I've always been inclined to avoid front shifts, but that totally went away on my uncle's bike. Then when my Yaw FD rocked up and I was examining it, the huge amount of throw and rub-avoiding geometry got me thinking electric Yaw on a half-step triple... I even spent a bit of time on Excel to find the perfect ratios.

Yea, I don't buy new stuff unless I'm actually unhappy with my old stuff. Kind of an anti-consumer in that way. Not interested at this point.
