Contrary to what most believe, there were enough racers that used bar end shifters in the 70's and early 80's that installing them on a n 80's race bike is not really "blasphemy".......
I wasn't trying to imply it was blasphemous, but in spite of being period-correct, I prefer the cleaner lines of dt shifters on an Italian classic. At any rate it's not my bike, and there are lots of worse things one could do.
