My Vaude is no longer listed and although it probably isn't waterproof, it does come with a rain cover that stuffs in a little pocket at the bottom. Waterproof packs may be heavier that water resistant + rain cover, something to consider. Also, generic rain covers will fit virtually any pack so if you like one that isn't waterproof, a separate rain cover would fit your waterproof requirement. Finally, if you want a hi-viz and/or reflective rain cover for low-light, vision-obscured rainy conditions, you might want to get a pack that fits comfortably, is the right size and then purchase a separate cover like this Polaris rain cover.
