A better question is how much is it costing them to hang on to a two year old bike that didn't sell at MSRP?
Inventory is a liability. It costs them money to not sell that bike.
Odds are good they won't budge but Americans are strangely reluctant to ask. And clearly, the reason you don't haggle with a grocery store manager over a gallon of milk is that the effort to reward ratio isn't really there.
