I found this Kona chromoly steel frame hiding behind a box in a local bike shop. They parted ways with it for $350 without a fork. In retrospect I probably paid a little more than I should have without the OEM fþork, but no regrets. Its a really nice riding bike, and the road disc brakes are simply amazing. I recently found a Rocky Mountain cyclocross frame on CL for $250 and was oh so close to buying it. Common sense prevailed, I don't really NEED a 4th bike, although some might argue. The point is, if you're patient, you can find a used frame in near new condition for a reasonable price. What you do with the frame, the sky is the limit in terms of components.
