Bikes: See my sig...

At a price point of $489.00 msrp Fuji had to make cuts and the best place to save money in on the wheels and drivetrain.

The front wheel is probably going to be fine but I'd replace the rear wheel with a cassette hub and 7 speed cassette (this will need a spacer) to give you a much stronger rear wheel and contrary to some expressed opinions, hollow axles are stronger and less prone to bending that solid axles, it is the nature of tubes to resist bending stresses and they will often break before they bend.

The new rear wheel will be a little spendy as you need a disc hub and will want a well made wheel... any off the peg wheel should get checked by a competent technician to make sure it has been properly tensioned, trued, and de-stressed.
