I have also found that something around the neck in the summer heat really, really helps. I have a couple of these and they work well also (see link below). Similar to the kool tie but I like them better because they help in the winter and windy days also....pull up over my face....yeah we don't have much of a winter here. But if you want to ride in wind come down south. You have the hat portion covered.

Oh yea, if you're calling San Antonio South TX, well...let's just say it's the northern edge of South TX I lived in San Antonio 25 years but now live in the real South TX.
