Great bike, but of course I am partial to road bikes of that vintage.
The crankset looks a lot like the Agrati on Capo
#2 -- the spider was forged integrally with the right crank, instead of being pressed on.
The original Simplex 3-to-6-bolt adapters can handle a 45T chainring, minimum -- the previous owner had set up Capo
#2 w/ 58(!)-45, which I replaced w/ my favorite combination, 49-46.
