Is there a big transportation or import duty penalty to getting it delivered to Tasmania? Or will you pick it up while travelling?
There actually is an agent for them in Australia, but their prices are somewhat higher than picking them up at the factory.
We visited BF in December 2012 to test ride a couple. We figured even then that on our next trip to North America to visit Machka's folks that we would drop down to Eugene and pick up two after pre-ordering and paying for them.
They then become our travel bikes and will come with us when we return to Australia. I don't think there will be issues with duty. We don't have issues with our other bikes when travelling.
