Knowing whats in there will do you no good.No user servicable parts inside. Check for a loose or missing screw on the upper backide of the levers.The other fix when they get cranky is hose them out with something like wd-40 and relube with a spray like triflo.Also make sure you don't have a cable or casing issue causing a hangup.
