I would take the Segway in a second. I could easily sell one for $4K in New York Ctiy providing it's in mint condition. When they first came out, the NYPD used to have officers using them and I noticed quite a few of them on the streets. However, a number of people were getting serious injuries and then there were the recalls. (Google Segway/problems) The dream faded away.
