Then do your own cost-benefit analysis and buy based on particulars that are important to you. To me, it is a bigger PITA to take my bike to a shop than to do it myself. If the OP was experienced and knew what they wanted I would agree. But they haven't ridden in a while on newer styles of bike. I would bet they don't have the knowledge to set a bike up and the like. It seems to be a quick way to have a clothes hanger in the basement or another bike at a garage sale.
