+1. A lot of people don't realize that one of AAA's main (if not its main) purpose is to lobby for spending in projects to benefit motor vehicles. In the past, it has advocated positions that would take money away from alternative transportation projects, including those related to cycling, and instead have it spent on motor vehicle projects.
