So the car was a lead car. Why didn't they slow the field down? Eight seconds isn't a lot of time but a couple of arms out the windows and a bit of brake and that's all it would have taken. You pass the lead car and you get DQ'd. I'm sure it's a lot more complicated than that but I hope this is analyzed in Colorado and something learned from it.
