I think what @WestPablo was getting at was to sit on some bikes at your LBS to see what size you need to be looking at.
@WestPablo was 100% correct on that one. I went to a couple bike shops today and while it varied from brand to brand, I was typically right at a 14"-15" frame. I could fit a 16" too sometimes but it was a stretch... literally. Moral of this story is I can't rely solely on frame size as an indicator. Oh dear, test riding is in my future... what a terrible predicament...

Still trawling Craigslist looking for something doable. A vintage Schwinn Collegiate popped up tonight, and I could go look at it tomorrow if y'all reckon it might be a good idea. What do you think? Here it is: Schwinn Collegiate Small Bike

There's also a Trek Navigator 2.0 I've been looking at, though right now it's out of my price range and I also think it's priced too high. Thoughts? Should I try to wear this person down, and if so, to about how much? TREK 26"

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best,
Ash
