Well the box is on our dock. I had gotten a Cannondale box from my LBS. The Specialized box looked super but was bigger (much wider but a bit shorter, the wheels are both off on the side) and I wasn't sure about the UPS size regulations and that box. The Cannondale box was OK for sure plus they gave me all the packing materials...to which I added a bunch of my own. In the end it was 52"x31"x9", 36 lbs and I insured it for $2500 which I believe would just cover the total loss of the bike (but not my shoes...eh whatever).
Bike SHOULD get to Austin on Monday...keeping my fingers crossed.
