There is basically zero probability that you'd get a ticket for using the right-hand lane to go straight. People who are suggesting that you are "wrong" for doing that without having ridden on that particular road can't really tell whether it's unreasonable to ride that way.

If I did that, I'd probably be on the left side of that lane (something I'd guess you are doing too).
