Well, a couple of other differences, mostly don't make a difference in the ride, but are a little more convenient for touring- the Alyeska has a MTB derailleur to handle the lower gears and the triple crank, it has more mounting points for racks and water bottles, and cantilever brakes. But a very nice price for a sport-touring model. If I were closer I'd pick it up.
