Yup I have too much stuff for my pockets and not sacrificing a bottle cage to fill an empty bottle with tools. I bring more water than I need for my rides, fill one with water and another with Gatorade (sugar, electrolytes, cheap). 2 tubes, 3 CO2 cartridges, multi-tool, SRAM quick link, chain tool, patch kit and tire levers. I've had to use all of 'em so far already (replaced obviously).
- KMC quick link failed, it broke, no idea why or how, I'm not that strong of a rider. SRAM quick link worked perfectly.
- Patch kit worked for a tube.
- Then another tube, for some reason where I commute, someone had broken glass and one night didn't notice, paying attention.
- Multi-tool to adjust my saddle etc.

Love having this kit. It's ugly and cumbersome but it's been useful.
