I'd consider anything within my price range. I listed this under vintage because I want to know what I can get for my rb-1 frame set, but I'm def not tied to getting a vintage bike. Anything that function well is good. I have a couple buddies who a serious road riders I'd like to be able to join them on their shorter rides so it needs to be capable. I don't know anything about new bikes. I am lost as to whether I get more quality by buying a new lower end bike or an old higher end. Ie, has the progress of the last 20 years made even the lower end new bikes much better than the high end bikes of 20 years ago? Can I put new gruppos on old frames? Worth it? sry just getting back into riding last couple years so a bit out of date...
