It is a good LBS I go there for everything. He want's my frame set and has a Trek 620 frame (just the frame n fork) he wants to trade me in my size. I know my frame set is worth a bit more. He has offered to do a complete build on the 620 in exchange for my frame and some cash. So trying to figure out a deal thats fair and beneficial to both of us. A rideable 620 much better that an rb-1 frame sitting around my house..Of course parts matter but need to know what my value is coming in..I don't have a lot of cash personally so..what would you do?
Trade for an RB-1 in your size!

. The RB-1 in yellow seems to be worth more for some reason. I saw a very small one (complete) sell on eBay for over $900. Given that the RB-1 is a grail frame for many, I would personally have paid up to 375 for a frame set in good condition. While the 620 is by no means a bad bike however, I would rather trade for a bike in the same class or tier. That would be the Trek 720 or trek 760/770. Take that with a grain of salt though. I'm sure many would be happy to trade a frame for a whole bike.
