I definitely agree with Muir's philosophy of having nice tools so after you bust a knuckle or get pissed off, you can breathe deeply and fondle them and feel better about things. On our second official date, LoP and I went for a long walk and I found one of these in the middle of the street. It's only 50 grams but it's nickel-plated and has a nice feel to it. Some people may not get it but there have been days even when I had no intention of truing wheels that I've carried it in my pocket just so I could pull it out and run my fingers over it, feel its weight in my hand and think about what a cool thing it is and how magical the day was on which it found its way to me.

It has also been an excellent tool for truing wheels.
