No it's a PC, but an old one. I charge my Garmin through the USB port, so it's always connected to that computer (except when it's on the bike of course). When I get back from a ride and I plug the Garmin in, it's recognized as a portable drive. But when the Garmin is off but connected, the computer does not see it at all.

I was able to delete the old rides as you described, that went fine.

I've got the ride as a .tcx extension in the courses folder, but when I look on the Garmin unit, it just says "no courses saved"

Do I need to do something to transfer the items from the PC courses folder to the Garmin unit??
