I wouldn't do things in the way that Bianchi10 does myself, but I can't criticize how someone chooses to spend their own money. My situation is that I am all about value. I like nice things too, but I just want to feel that I made a good buy. The acknowledged top dogs in a merchandise field like Rapha are usually not about value; they are usually about status. That doesn't do anything for me. I try to come as close to the top specifications as possible for a considerably lower cost. That strategy has allowed me to have just about everything to do with bikes that I have ever wanted. Other folks are fine with maybe spending too much as long as they can be sure their purchase can't be topped. Different strokes for different folks.
