Bikes: Co-Motion Cappuccino Tandem,'88 Bob Jackson Touring, Co-Motion Cascadia Touring, Open U.P., Ritchie Titanium Breakaway, Frances Cycles SmallHaul cargo bike. Those are the permanent ones; others wander in and out of the stable occasionally as well.

So, why the giant battery? Could you just buy it when you get there? Or ship it there via FedEx and have it waiting there when you arrive? Maybe consider an xtracycle too which is designed more for hauling this sort of load even without a rack.
