I'm going to come out and say that i don't agree with death to thieves, bum bashing, making fun of crackheads etc. I'm not saying it doesn't suck because it does. It just bums me out even more to hear people talking **** on people who have it (and probably have their whole life) way harder than them. Yes you will see the same person who stole your **** selling it on a corner a block away so they can buy more drugs and it can be infuriating. However, I think we need to look at the system and our own roles in urban gentrification. You can go beat down homeless people (whose housing was probably demolishing decades ago to make way for some hipster art studio) and curse the crackheads, you might even get your stolen goods back, but don't think for a minute that these actions will put and end to bike theft.
