I think you will be very, very lucky to find this part.

IIRC the original Avanti shifter was discontinued in about 1995 or so - the year the PDF you are trying to look at was published.

It continued in a different body thereafter, with all metal components, until it was finally discontined in 1998/99. It was, in the form that you have, part of an ill-fated attempt to break into the entry-level market.

You can use a 2000 - 2009 shape / pattern ErgoPower with EC-RE060 fitted to keep your 8s system running - we can do this conversion if you can supply a second-generation ergopower shifter, we have the 8s ratchet / cable bushes in stock. Email link is under he company name below.
