Not living outside of my means. I dont have any debt with my purchases. I want nice things and save for them. I have very little regrets on my purchases and if I ever did, I turned around and sold it. At the end of the day, I make it work for me, so WTF does it matter?

I think some posters are taking this way too far...but I'm still blown away by how you don't see it coming.

I was asking about the Rapha jacket specifically. I wasn't asking about any and or all rain jackets. I know several people on the site use Rapha gear as well and I was simply looking for opinions about its versatility. Some how it was blown up into how I spend my money. I guess I "made my own bed" and am now an injured animal in the jungle and any move I make, I will be easily attacked. 4 pages worth of bashing and only 3 or 4 serious comments towards my question? why is that necessary? Its all good though, I'll carry on.
