Nice write-up.
As a former Brooks rider, and current Selle Anatomica rider (all but one of my bikes are equipped with SA saddles), avoid the temptation to over-tension the SA saddle. While the Brooks and SA saddles may appear similar, I have found that the SA saddles work best when you tension them a little less than you think you should (in other words, don't try to replicate the Brooks' stiffness).
