I'm hardly surprised by FullSpectrum's frank comments regarding my Zic-Zac track. After all, it absolutely looks, and is, much different then most track bikes - or any other bike for that matter. I can't argue to that. Furthermore, I'm sure the Zic-Zac is "stupid" for some, as with FullSpectrum. Having said that, I am a bit surprised to see that here as I was under the impression that this particular forum, fixed gear, at it's very core, was an alternative, free thinking, progressive, open minded community. A culture born from frustration with mediocrity and distain for conformity united against the spread of herd mentality to transcend beyond what the outside world couldn't. A committed to the idea that "one size does not fit all." Fording a singular sprocket fraternity to the betterment of man kind the world ove r- LOL.

I guess my "I'll give it try first" attitude allowed me to make non-prejudicial determination, focusing instead on it's capabilities. I confess to not giving it's appearance much thought. I can see how my enthusiasm and excitement for this quirky machine may have come off as a bit much. I will say this, given the large number of track bikes I've owned, ridden, and or, raced over the years, my 650C track bikes are without equal. That's the only difference I can see.

Think about it like this, if you never saw a Formula-1 car in your life to one day find yourself next to one at traffic light and started laughing at it...

Well you know - the world is only as BIG as you allow it to be.
