Just learned a workaround to the geographically restricting and very time-consiming search method on Craigslist. Here are my findings.

Again so far, Brompton only, this time as "Brompton folding"

Over half the ads are deleted, presumably because the bike sold (or seller decided to keep it) So, it appears there are more buyers than sellers. Did they sell for asking price? I do not know how to determine this other than monitor a site over time.

Italy

- WANTED "any condition Whaaaat? How many lonely heart ads do see for 'any woman who will marry me '? It us usually more specific, like 'leggy brunette who is Catholic and likes dogs'

USA

- FOR SALE 2-year old, 900 miles of use, Brooks saddle, T bag. New 2150, $1500 firm. Do cars hold their prices so well?

- WANTED no budget mentioned, just 'good working order' How often does a man call an escort agency and ask for anyone perfect, price no object (if they do, they're making life tough for this Delta male)

- FOR SALE - M3L, mudguards, 3-speed, Brooks classic saddle, $1920 new, price $1200.
