Again so far, Brompton only, this time as "Brompton folding"
Over half the ads are deleted, presumably because the bike sold (or seller decided to keep it) So, it appears there are more buyers than sellers. Did they sell for asking price? I do not know how to determine this other than monitor a site over time.

- WANTED "any condition Whaaaat? How many lonely heart ads do see for 'any woman who will marry me '? It us usually more specific, like 'leggy brunette who is Catholic and likes dogs'

i used to buy bromptons overseas (hong kong mostly and USA) and sell them back home. the hong kong official dealer, mr. lee of flying ball, told me that the demand was so high that their import of brompton bikes all get sold in two to three weeks. there was no way to choose colors or configurations. what the they had was what you got. there was even a time they did not have anything in stock because brompton UK could not supply them.
from my experience of buying and selling bromptons, i can say that the resale value of these folding bikes are higher than any other folding bike. people who have them hang on to them and never sell. this is why very few are available in the second hand market.
