Hey guys and gals!

I'm primarily here to learn about bike mechanics. I've been commuting for several years and found the satisfaction of getting my bike back on the road (when I actually could get it back on the road) very satisfying.

I was commuting 20 miles a day, with a 60 lb backpack, on an old, Frankensteined Peugeot PX10 that ALWAYS needed work done. Now that my new (older) '00 Raleigh USA R-600 has all original parts, I can start fresh with fully compatible parts and have a better chance of making my bike run better!

I've been slowly building up a tool set in my garage and feel like I've got about 80% of the tools I'll need for most repairs. I've just begun working on friends' bikes and with great success.
