I know what you mean. I have to ride the stretch of 101 around the GSP airport and the only way to do it without getting smeared is to walk in the grass or ride in the center non-lane. Those BMW employees are a bunch of nutbars.

There is room on the opposite side of the road to walk the bike on the grass shoulder. So I guess I'll try that next. I hate it, because it feels like giving up. But I don't want to get run over.
