I just pulled out my dads 1973 CCM Elite out of the shed. Hasn't been ridden in years. Cleaned it up, filled the tires with air, greased everything, and replaced the brake pads and all the cables. Here's a picture of my dad riding it last night. He just turned 84 last week. He hopped on the bike and after a couple of wobbly pedal strokes was off riding with a big smile like I haven't seen in a while. I owe my love of cycling to my dad who encouraged me and rode with me as a young kid. It's the least I could do to thank him!
