Some of these older parts are really tough to find though. I'm wondering if there are some modern parts with the same price to quality balance as the original bike.

Velo Orange parts seem to have a pretty reasonable price and French feel to them (might have something to do with the name ), but I don't know if they're that reliable. I'd hate to put junky parts on a frame I've worked so hard on to restore. I was thinking at least the BB and headset could be VO?

Also I don't like VO's cranks/cranksets very much, and the Nervars are pretty rare and/or ugly so I'm really stuck in that department.
