As I<3 Robots says, a removable battery that's standard across all elements of the system, that I can charge inside at my leisure then take along as a spare in the eventuality that one element runs dry sooner than the rest, would be something I'd like to see.

Not sure if I like how they describe the new setup operating. I know it's something that you'd get used to. I just don't know why they feel they have to reinvent the wheel. Is it that they want to stick with their one-button shifting?
You don't have an outlet in your garage? You need to turn in your man card. You can atone by taking a wiring class to learn how to pull coax.
How do you plug in your compressor to run your air tools to change suspensions on your cars?
All said, not everybody is a candidate for electronic shifting. If you can't find out how to plug in your bike...btw the batteries are likely removable...then you best ride with cables.
