no, bro. in fact i dont think any of those extenders will fail. it's what it's connected to that is important. the bike's stem is the weak point. i was just commenting on the funny names and pointing out that the satori stem seems to be the least expensive option. i remember seeing that on a brompton and thought it actually looked pretty good.

but, consider that the brompton stem is brazed steel and quite beefy.
