Agreed. The genius of the bike is that it can be configured in so many ways and still be recognized as a bike.

this weekend I am riding in Monterey CA. One of the bike trails goes past a homeless encampment of sorts. Many of these guys have turned "throw away" bikes into veritable works of engineering art, converting them into transport vehicles for their worldly possessions. Truly amazing!
